Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Customer Operations Specialist. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to multitask within a dynamic environment. You will work closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process customer orders via phone, email, and fax, ensuring timely and accurate entry into the system.
  • Place purchase orders while verifying and confirming sale and purchase pricing details.
  • Coordinate shipments with carriers, scheduling equipment and overseeing loading/unloading requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing updates on shipping schedules, pricing, product availability, shipping documentation, sample requests, and order confirmations.
  • Input invoicing data into the system with precision and efficiency.
  • Maintain and update the database with current information on customers, products, suppliers, and pricing.
  • Collaborate across departments (warehouse, accounting, purchasing, etc.) to assist with various tasks when needed.
